What will you do?

Your affinity & practical expertise with data enable you to integrate technology and domain knowledge with data management expertise to meet key business objectives.

In this role, you will drive programs/projects that cover the following:

  • Identify and prioritise critical data assets and develop and maintain planning, oversight and control procedures and policies.
  • Analyse existing data management and technological platforms
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of data management activities such as meta-data and database management, data quality monitoring, data sourcing and data privacy.
  • Trace data to its origin, define and measure data quality, and assign ownership and responsibilities.
  • Support in implementing data management solutions (Collibra, Snowflake, Informatica) and data lake infrastructure.
  • Build state of the art data platforms on premise or in the cloud
  • Play an instrumental role in fostering communication between data providers and data consumers.
  • Ensure investments are data-driven and identify opportunities for rationalisation.
  • Collect and prioritize regulatory, technical or IT-technical data quality and data security requirements

Job requirements

Your skills and qualifications

  • +5years of experience, preferably as a consultant, within the data domain
  • develop and understand client data strategy, challenges, and translation to project goals
  • organize the translation of business requirements into data-driven solutions
  • transform operating models to new and effective ways of working
  • create and implement a clear communication plan in order to provide transparency in the progress, findings, and results for senior stakeholders
  • create and follow up an end to end delivery plan to reach the project’s objective
  • drive activities on a day-to-day basis whilst measuring progress against end goals
  • coordinate and drive implementation of data management foundations:
  • data governance: data glossary, lineage, ..
  • data technology and tooling: meta data management, data lakes, cloud based platforms
  • data analytics: data science, revenue generating data products
  • fluency in English
  • fluency in Dutch or French


How to blow us away?

  • knowledge of common data management frameworks like DAMA, EDMCouncil and others are considered a plus
  • knowledge of data governance platforms (Collibra, Informatica, …) and data analytics platforms (Hadoop, Snowflake, …) are considered a plus
  • experience with regulatory data requirements (BCBS 239, KYC, GDPR, …), data analytics and/or reporting is considered a plus.
  • experience as a business consultant or an advisory role
  • a passion for data and its added value for the customer and you have the strong desire to transform our customer’s culture into a data culture. You apply a pragmatic approach to deliver results at a steady pace
