Job requirements

Your profile

·       Develop and maintain an AI strategy, roadmap aligned with corporate goals and the target operating model.

·       Identify, assess, and prioritise AI use cases in collaboration with business units and technical teams.

·       Build business cases for AI initiatives, including value hypotheses, cost estimations, and risk assessments.

·       Work with data, engineering, and product teams to guide solution design, platform choices, and architectural decisions.

·       Define success metrics for AI solutions and oversee measurement and continuous optimisation.

·       Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

·       Act as a change agent: drive AI literacy, evangelise use cases, and support adoption across business teams.

Your minimum skill set

Hard skills

·     Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, generative models).

·     Familiarity with data science workflows and MLOps/LLMOps (data prep, model development, deployment, monitoring).

·     Ability to evaluate AI technologies and platforms (cloud AI services, LLMs, vector databases, orchestration tools).

·     Strong business and strategic analysis skills (market analysis, value modeling, prioritisation frameworks).

·     Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy in the context of AI usage.

·      Experience with project or program management (Agile, SAFe, or similar) for cross‑functional initiatives.

·     Ability to read technical documentation and discuss architecture with engineers and data scientists.

Soft skills

·       Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with great attention to detail.

·       Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical stakeholders.

·       Confident in stakeholder management; able to challenge, align, and advise.

·       Structured working style with strong documentation habits.

·       Proactive attitude, driving issues from identification through resolution.

·       Comfortable working cross‑functionally with business, IT, risk, and compliance.

·       High sense of ownership and integrity, especially with sensitive data.

 

Bonus

We will be even more impressed if you have:

·    University or HBO degree in a technical field.

·       Experience with multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Cloudera).

·       Experience bringing AI applications or advanced analytics into production.

·       Experience teaching, presenting, or coaching.

·       An active network in the Dutch Financial Services & Insurance sector
