What will you do?
On a day-to-day basis as a Financial Service Payments Consultant, you'll get involved in designing and delivering the future of our clients' payments strategy, operating models, architecture and customer journeys.
Your work will be about supporting our clients in the transformation of Payments operations to keep up with new customer behaviour and technology innovation. You will help to improve the capabilities of payment market infrastructures and financial institutions, and players across value chain (Payment Service Providers, Fintech, Retail).
Your responsibilities will include:
- You advise and develop new payment strategies, operational models and processes for our clients.
- You support clients in transforming their payment processes to respond to changing customer behaviour and technological innovations.
- You ensure efficient cooperation between different payment markets and infrastructures, such as banks, financial institutions and fintechs.
- You contribute to the realisation of projects and/or programmes for clients.
- you are a representative of our progressive knowledge in the field of Payments, actively contributing to your personal development as well as that of the team and the organisation as a whole.
Job requirements
Your skills and qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Payments-related initiatives within a Consultancy, a Bank or a Payment services provider
- in-depth knowledge of payment systems and technologies
- experience in Business Analysis, Process Optimisation, Business Model, Test Management, Product Ownership or Product Management
- strong client engagement skills with an aptitude for nurturing client relationships
- team player thriving in a collaborative settings with a positive attitude and a sense of humour
- proactive and hands-on approach
- excellent organizational, time-management, leadership and communication skills
- fluent in English
- fluent in Dutch or French

- Market Infrastructure
- Clearing & Settlement.
- Cards / Digital Payments.

- PSD2, Open Banking and Embedded Finance.
- Retail and mobile Payments.
- (Central Bank) Digital currencies (including blockchain technology)
- Financial messaging (MT & ISO 20022)
