Job description

As experienced Risk Data and Reporting Consultant you join our Projective Group team, supporting a major European bank on a crucial, long-term program. This initiative is vital for achieving full compliance with regulatory principles for Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting (RDARR). The core focus of this mission is to strengthen risk data aggregation capabilities, implement robust data quality standards and controls, and further implement an integrated data architecture across the bank.

It’s a long-term freelance mission in the center of Brussels, potentially +1,5 years

What will you do?

As a consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both decentralized business domains and centralized data stewards, ensuring the successful execution of all RDARR required activities. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Supporting Decentralized Business Domains:

o    Providing expert guidance and support across various risk areas, including Credit Risk, Risk Modelling, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk, and comprehensive Risk Reporting.

 

·         Supporting Centralized Data Stewards for RDARR Activities:

o    Documenting business data lineage, collaborating with business owners to extract technical lineage, and ensuring its accurate upload into the central metadata repository.

o    Implementing and monitoring robust data quality controls.

o    Conducting rigorous testing of data lineage to validate accuracy and completeness.

Job requirements

Your skills & qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of finance, risk, and data expertise, coupled with excellent communication skills.

·         Strong Finance & Risk data expertise is essential.

·         Proven experience in regulatory data programs, particularly with the BCBS 239 framework.

·         Fluency in English AND Dutch or English is required.

·         Previous experience in Risk Modelling and Reporting.

·         Good understanding of Credit, ALM, or ESG.

·         Minimum of 3 years' experience in Risk Management.
