What will you do?
Your work will focus on guiding clients through the transformation of their Payments landscape, enabling them to meet the demands of new customer behaviors and technology innovation.
You'll contribute to improving the capabilities of payment market infrastructures, financial institutions, and key players across the value chain, including Payment Service Providers, Fintechs, and Retailers.
Your responsibilities will include:
advise and develop new payment strategies, operational models and processes for our clients.
support clients in transforming their payment processes to respond to changing customer behaviour and technological innovations.
ensure efficient cooperation between different payment markets and infrastructures, such as banks, financial institutions and fintechs.
contribute to the realisation of projects and/or programmes for clients.
be a representative of our progressive knowledge in the field of Payments, actively contributing to your personal development as well as that of the team and the organisation as a whole.
Job requirements
Your skills and qualifications
+3 years of relevant experience in Payments-related initiatives within a Consultancy, a Bank or a Payment services provider
in-depth knowledge of payment systems and technologies
experience in Business Analysis, Process Optimisation, Business Model, Test Management, Product Ownership or Product Management
Strong client engagement skills with an aptitude for nurturing client relationships
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (Dutch or French is a strong plus)
Passion for Payments: A dedication to driving innovation and operational excellence in the payments industry, with up-to-date knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies and regulatory developments.
Teamwork & Independence: A collaborative mindset, coupled with the ability to work autonomously when needed, and a can-do attitude.
Proactive & Analytical Approach: A results-driven, efficiency-focused, and problem-solving mindset.
Communication & Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to engage and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Adaptability & Business Orientation: Flexibility to handle varied responsibilities while maintaining a customer-centric, driven, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong plus if you have knowledge in areas such as:
Payments and Core Banking – Understanding the backbone of payment systems and their integration within financial institutions
Instant Payments – Driving real-time transaction capabilities to enhance speed and efficiency
SWIFT Innovations & Financial Messaging (MT & ISO 20022) – Navigating global payment networks and evolving messaging standards
Market Infrastructure & Clearing & Settlement – Optimizing payment flows and ensuring regulatory compliance within financial ecosystems
PSD2, Open Banking & Embedded Finance – Leveraging regulatory shifts to unlock new payment opportunities and customer experiences.
